How to Get Your Massachusetts Real Estate License

Here is a general overview of the steps required to obtain a real estate salesperson license in Massachusetts. For formal pre-licensing education you will need to enroll at a licensed Massachusetts real estate school.

Enroll in a Licensed Real Estate School

Complete 40 hours of Board-approved pre-licensing coursework at a licensed Massachusetts real estate school. Topics include real estate law, contracts, finance, and ethics.

Pass the Massachusetts Real Estate Exam

After completing your coursework, pass the Massachusetts real estate salesperson exam administered by PSI Exams.

Find a Sponsoring Broker

All new Massachusetts salespersons must work under a licensed supervising broker. Cornwall Realty, LLC welcomes motivated new agents looking for a professional and supportive brokerage home.

Apply for Your License

Submit your application to the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons along with your exam results and sponsoring broker information.
